Abandonment Policy

Animals abandoned at The Cat Clinic will be turned over to the Norman Animal Shelter. Pet abandonment is a crime!

Appointment Policy

Walk-in clients are welcome, however priority will be given to clients with appointments. Emergency cases are the lone exception and will always receive top priority.

Boarding Policy

Our full boarding policy is available here.

Patient Arrival Policy

The Cat Clinic is home to several felines who wander freely. For everyone’s protection (theirs, yours, ours, your cat’s), we ask that all cats arrive and depart in a carrier or on a leash.

The Cat Clinic is not responsible for the safety of cats who do not arrive in carriers.

Payment Policy

Yes, we do charge fees, and we do require full payment at the time that services are rendered. Your cooperation in this matter ensures that we can continue to provide your cats with the highest quality medical care. (For our full fee and payment policy, please look here.)

We do offer our clients a number of payment options. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and personal checks (with proper ID). We also offer payment plans through CareCredit. Details about CareCredit can be found by going to the CareCredit Web site or by contacting one of our staff.

Privacy Policy

The Cat Clinic of Norman recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of our clients and patients. We will not release patient records or discuss patient histories or current status without the express authorization of the owner on record, except for limited information as allowed by law (e.g., confirming vaccination status) or information needed by another veterinarian in the event of an emergency.

We do not share with any third party vendors or Internet businesses any information collected through this website.

Records Release

We generally require a minimum of 48 hours to prepare records for release. For some highly complex records, we might require additional time. By law we have up to ten business days to release records.

In all cases we require direct authorization from the owner of record before we release a patient’s file. Generally this means written authorization; however, oral authorization is acceptable in some cases.

Please note that radiographic images and ultrasound images are the property of The Cat Clinic of Norman. In the event these images need to be shared with another veterinarian, we will either lend the originals or make copies at our discretion. A fee may be charged for preparing copies.
